Epipremnum aureum
Epipremnum Aureum â Golden Pothos
A classic houseplant that never goes out of style! The Epipremnum Aureum, commonly known as Golden Pothos or Devil's Ivy, is a beautiful trailing plant with glossy, heart-shaped green leaves decorated with splashes of golden-yellow variegation.
Fast-growing and wonderfully versatile, this popular houseplant looks fantastic trailing from shelves, hanging planters or plant stands. Alternatively, you can train its climbing stems up a moss pole to create a lovely vertical display.
It's also a brilliant choice for beginners thanks to its forgiving nature and relatively easy-going care requirements.
Plant care:
- Light: Happy in a range of light conditions but prefers bright, indirect light for the best golden variegation.
- Watering: Allow the top few centimetres of compost to dry out before watering again.
- Humidity: Enjoys average household humidity but appreciates a little extra moisture in the air.
- Temperature: Prefers a warm position away from cold draughts.
- Growth: A naturally trailing and climbing plant that can grow quite quickly in the right conditions.
- Difficulty: Easy care â perfect for beginners and experienced plant lovers alike.
A little plant fact: Golden Pothos is often nicknamed Devil's Ivy because it is famously difficult to kill and can remain green even in challenging conditions!
A gorgeous, easy-going addition to any indoor jungle.
Please note: Epipremnum Aureum is toxic if chewed or ingested, so keep away from pets and young children.
